The two-year contract of Italian expert has expired and will not be renewed, Australian VF published on its website. Thus, Santilli is no longer head coach of Australian Men’s National Team.

Volleyball Federation of Australia is now seeking for new head coach to lead the male national team in the 2018 FIVB World Championship campaign.

“I sincerely want to express my thankfulness to all the people that I shared my journey in Australia with. Thanks for letting me to get to see the sunrise from the other side of the globe. Thanks for letting me to get to know people living smiling and without anger. Thanks for letting me live into this wonderful nature. Thanks for letting me understand that ‘thinking differently’ is a real possibility. I will never forget these lessons…and of course I have to thanks the boys! The ones that I learned a lot from and the ones that I learned less from. Enjoy volleyball,” Santilli got emotional on Facebook.
