A total of 24 participants are registered for the seminar. They all come from the CAZOVA and ECVA zones, which are both within the NORCECA confederation and include such countries as Jamaica, Trinidad & Tobago, Suriname, British Virgin Islands, Anguilla, Monserrat, Grenada, St. Vincent, French St. Martin, Dominica, Antigua & Barbuda, and St. Lucia.
Brian Louisy, president of St. Lucia Volleyball Association, Florian Combie, vice-president of St. Lucia Volleyball Association, were present at the opening ceremony, as were Isabelle Marquis, representing the Ministry of Sport, FIVB instructor Dusan Jarotta and Yohanna Mota Moreno.
