Guillermo was at the helm of the Romanian women’s national team for almost four years and helped them qualify to the Final Round of the 2015 CEV Volleyball European Championship where they finished in 15th place.
“I am grateful for this opportunity,” the 46-year-old Argentinean-born coach said while addressing the Swedish media on Wednesday afternoon.
“It is an honour for me to coach the Swedish women’s national team. The team has great potential and I am really looking forward to getting started.”
