Grand-Prix

For the first time in history, players of both men’s and women’s Polish volleyball championships will test their strength on the sand in a tournament called Polish Volleyball League Grand Prix. Tournaments in which 16 clubs, eight each from PlusLiga and Liga Siatkówki Kobiet, are included will start on July 25. By this, the initial idea is to be realized.

The Grand Prix will last for three weekends in three separate locations. Sixteen teams will be divided into 4 groups. The final tournament is scheduled for August 7-9. As for the rules, one team will consist of four players, while the rules of the game will be the same as in indoor volleyball with the exception that each of four players can attack. The dimensions of the court will be the same as in indoor volleyball.
