AZS Politechnika defeated Effector Kielce in the first match. If they win on Saturday they get the chance to fight for fifth place.
“Effector certainly was not the team that we have seen in the matches against Jastrzębski WEGIEL. I’m sure they will play a much better game against us” said AZS Politechnika WARSZAWSKA captain Krzysztof Wierzbowski.
Effector Kielce coach Dariusz Daszkiewicz took responsibility for the defeat in front of their audience.
“After a series of meetings against Jastrzębski WEGIEL I could not find the way to motivate the team. I hope we get out on the field in Warsaw with completely different attitude” he said.
PGE Skra BELCHATOW defeated Lotos Trefl Gdańsk in the first meeting. Second game between Lotos Trefl Gdańsk and PGE Skra BELCHATOW will be held on Sunday (start 20.30).
