In a recent update, Aleksander Śliwka has undergone a successful surgery on his injured hand. The player took to his Instagram account to share the news.
After sustaining the injury during the first set of a match against Knack Roeselare, which his team, ZAKSA, ultimately won 3-2, Śliwka displayed remarkable determination by finishing the set. However, he was unable to continue playing for the remainder of the match.
Upon returning to Poland, medical examinations revealed a fracture in the second finger of his left hand, necessitating surgical intervention, as confirmed by the club. Detailed examinations have further underscored the seriousness of Śliwka’s injury, indicating a substantial recovery period ahead.
In his Instagram post, Śliwka expressed gratitude for the successful surgery and the support of his fans. He did mention, though, that the recovery process may take longer than initially anticipated.
