In a deciding match, Russia had just what they needed to win the trophy.

In the last match of the XII Hubert Wagner Memorial, Poland has defeated  Russia  with 3-2 (22-25, 26-24, 20-25, 26-24, 15-9).

After winning the third set and getting the 2-1 lead, Russia secured the title and just took the foot of the gas.

This is the second gold for Russia in this tournament,

Poland: Piotr Nowakowski, Michał Winiarski, Dawid Konarski, Paweł Zagumny, Karol Kłos, Mateusz Mika, Krzysztof Ignaczak (libero) Michał Kubiak, Fabian Drzyzga, Andrzej Wrona, Marcin Możdżonek.

Russia: Nikolay Apalikov, Sergey Grankin, Nikolay Pavlov, Alexey Spiridonov, Sergey Savin, Dmitriy Muserskiy, Valentin Golubev (libero)
