Polish player announced that he has won the battle against cancer and that he should be soon ready to return to volleyball!
“Today I got the results from computerized tomography scans! I am healthy and I am going to be ready for full training in one month! Thank you all who have been giving me support. Give me just a littlebit of time to rebuild the form” wrote Bociek on his Facebook profile.
Gregorz Bociek missed the whole 2014/15 season, as he was diagnosed with cancer of lymphatic system. However, after winning the most important game in his life, Bociek even received a special surprise from Stephane Antiga, who has put him in the preliminary roster of the Polish National Team.
