During the Polish playoff seminals between Resovia and Trefl, Trefl’s coach Andrea Anastasi asked for the video check five times in the third set, mostly with justification. He won three times, lost two.
But, in the fourth set, he asked for the video check twice when it was obviuos that the referee’s calls were correct. In those moments, his team was sliding towards defeat.
Even Anastasi knew that he will be wrong which was suggested by his smile during the time when referees watched replay.
Is that an abuse of the possibility of video checks…?
