Experienced setter Magdalena Śliwa officially ended her professional career and became coach.

The 45-year-old Polish player from Budowlani Łódź is the new assistant of Tauron Banimex MKS Dąbrowa Górnicza’s coach Juan Manuel Serramalera.

For Śliwa, the season 2015/2016 will be the first in the new role. She returned to Dąbrowa Górnicza after 2 years.

The ex-setter collected more than 350 caps in the Polish national team and had very rich and successful playing career, especially while wearing the jersey of Dąbrowa Górnicza.

Śliwa won 3 Polish league titles, 5 Polish Cups and 2 Super Cups. Check out what award she has won with Poland.
