After Leszek Rus resigned as a coach of BKS Aluprof Bielsko-Biała, the Polish club began searching for his replacement.

Alessandro Chiappini

As siatka.org writes, one of the candidates for that position is an Italian coach Alessandro Chiappini, who has already worked in the Orlen League.

Chiappini won the Polish title in the season 2011/2012 while in the previous season, he was on the bench of Italian Imoco Volley Conegliano.

Although Bielsko-Biała didn’t find its first coach, it has already hired several new players.

The Slovakian Nikola Radosová, Argentine Yael Castiglione and Aleksandra Pasznik signed contracts.

Bielsko-Biała said goodbye to six players, among others, to the German Heike Beier and Czech Lucie Mühlsteinová.
