The player that won’t particiate on the final tournament in Rio de Janeiro is Jakub Jarosz, the best Polish scorer in the second away match against Iran that opened the door to Poland for F6.
„With great difficulty I had to make this decision. Jakub had convincing performances in recent matches and trained very well. He fantastically played in a match with Iran, in a victory that has opened the door to the final tournament. It’s a decision made by tactical considerations – the blocking – in which Konarski works very well,“ Antiga said in an interview for „Polsat Sport“.
Antiga choose 15 players to attend the training camp and 14 of them will go to Rio:
Setters: Drzyzga, Łomacz; Opposites: Kurek, Konarski; Middle blockers: Nowakowski, Możdżonek, Wrona, Kłos, Bieniek; Receivers: Kubiak, Buszek, Mika, Szalpuk; Liberos: Zatorski, Gacek.
