After two years of performing in the Plus League as Transfer Bydgoszcz, the Polish team changed its name.

Bydgoszcz

Bydgoszcz

It signed the agreement of support with Auction House „Transfer“ in August 2013 which has now expired.

With the support of a strategic sponsor, the budget of the team received a substantial financial injection which allowed it to fight for top positions in one of the best leagues in the world. Last season, it took sixth place in regular stage, losing in the play-off quarterfinal.

Both parties agreed that „Transfer“ will stay among the sponsors of the club, but not in the role of a title sponsor, leaving the place to other interested companies.

From now on, the official team name is going to be BKS Bydgoszcz (Budowlany Klub Sportowy Bydgoszcz).
