“I am happy to be the captain of this team, because this team fights until the end” said Michal Kubiak after a thrilling win against Germany. “When someone was in a bad rhythm there was always someone else to step in. Each player added a brick to the wall of success. It is also important that everyone felt like they are an important part of this team. We have talked a lot that we were unlucky at some previous tournaments, but now the luck slimed to us.”
Kubiak also added that Poland will go to Japan with one and only goal:
“Each of us likes sushi, but we are not going there to eat. Sushi is also good in Poland. We are going to Japan to qualify for the Olympics!”
