In the Polish Men’s Cup final in 2008, Dawid Murek did something that was not seen either before or after that.
Firstly, he dived for the ball off the court. Most of the players would not be able to continue the rally after that. But, not Murek. He returned to the court instantly, and finished it. He practically jumped from the outside to spike! Poznań crowd, where the Cup final was held, was ecstatic as well as commentator.
Those days Murek was member of Jastrzębski Węgiel who lost this final to AZS Częstochowa 3-1.
