Sebastian Swiderski
November 28 Effector Kielce will face in the Hall of Legions Kędzierzyn-Koźle ZAKSA. On the court Legion Hall will present their volleyball skills players such as Pawel Zagumny, Martin Mozdzonek, Antonin Rouzier, Felipe Fonteles, Michał Ruciak. The guest team debut also well known to the public Sebastian Swiderski (Kielce volleyball coach last season) and Thomas Drzyzga.
As a coach you debuted in Kielce last season. How do you remember that time?
Sebastian Swiderski: “Very good. I am glad that I was able to meet so many wonderful people. If you would still make the same decision again, I would do it without hesitation. I remember well the time spent in Kielce“.
Now you are now the second coach ZAKSY Kędzierzyn-Koźle, assistant Daniele Castellani. How do you find a job coach? Not long ago you and some ZAKSY players were on the pitch, arm in arm.
“At the beginning it was not easy. However, it ZAKSY play volleyball professionals, fully professional athletes, able to distinguish between professional and collegial relationships. On the other hand I’m a man who does not emphasize subordinationnot require hierarchy. We have a common goal with the guys that we want to achieve and this is most important. That we focus on”.
The eight turns past so fare in PlusLiga. How would you rate the level of volleyball league season 2012/2013?
“A few weeks ago I told you about the “Big Four“, leaving more space for Delecta. Time has shown that life is unpredictable. Behind us many surprises, many surprising results. This means that anyone can beat anyone, league is growing, it is getting stronger”.
Zaks is known to be so. “Big Four”. It is not mentioned in the Delecta, but it was the Delecta broke ZAKSY winning streak this season. Does this mean rotation among the favorites for this year’s medal zone?
“The surprising results are some of the league due to the stronger teams do not have all the players from the beginning of the season, their game falls for the right rhythm. But really, this is just the play-offs will show who is among the group of favorites”.
Is it from the coaching or the sentiment tracking the actions of effector Kielce? What can you say about the game Kielce team?
“How do you know that I follow (laughs)? Okay, I follow. In Kielce, began a new phase of your life and it will always be remembered with great fondness. Effector Kielce is a team that has been developed very rapidly, with some going to the front of the players. Your team is a combination of youth, enthusiasm, ambition, yet unfulfilled talent. This is the team that can compete and spoil the blood of many teams from the top of the plusliga table”.
Sports dream for this season …
“There are a few. First of all, get the main prize – the PlusLiga championship. But remember that the road is the Polish Cup, performances in the Champions League. We want to play well and win, win, win”.
What can we wish Sebastian Swiderski in life outside of work?
“Peace, stability and health. Once I wished only health, but this is at some point run out. Now on land there are many other problems. The team struggling with injuries and a few players. That is why today I dream of peace and stability”.
