No.3 Trefl outplayed last-placed Kielce to score their eighth consecutive win in PlusLiga, 3-0 (25-18, 25-19, 25-21), deepening the agony of today’s rivals who will have an extremely difficult task to avoid relegation in the remained five rounds. Kielce have only two points less (14) than the second-to-last BBTS Bielsko-Biała but will face three title contenders until the end of the regular season – Zaksa, Skra, and Jastrzębie.
Damian Schulz scored 19 points for Trefl and earned the MVP award of the match for the seventh time this season. Piotr Nowakowski added 4 kill blocks. The Serbian Tomislav Dokić delivered 15 points for Kielce.
