“Camejo applied for a change of sports citizenship. This will be considered at the FIVB Administrative Council in March,” says Yaremenko.
In the summer of 2018, Camejo received Russian citizenship. Throughout his career, he played for Volley Futuro (Brazil), Grieters and Skywalkers (both South Korea), Lokomotiv (Novosibirsk) and Al Jaish (Qatar).
If FIVB approves it, Camejo will be able to play for the Russian national team.
