”Yes, we have a lot of newcomers, Zenit added very strong players and i’m looking forward, playing with them. I don’t know personally all of the newcomers. For example i have never played with Sergey Egorov, Alexander Mochalov and Igor Kobzar, but it’s no big deal since all we need is to adapt to one another. Of course Aleksey Verbov, Alexey Kazakov and Roman Yakovlev I know very well and I’m sure they will help us in the upcoming season”.
After the unsuccessful season Zenit’s board decided to spend a lot of money and form even a stronger squad than last year.
