“The year was very good for our national team. Thank to all those people who supported me. Especially, I am grateful to Yuriy Marichev, who improved my playing style and gave me the captain’s armband. Also, I thank the girl who played with me. For me, the best match was the final game of the European Championship. It was a difficult year at club level. Hopefully, thing will get better soon. We will be better” – said Pankova.
