Sokolov
Sergey Shlyapnikov has already started forming the new roster of the Rusian national team. He decided to to include experienced libero Alexander Sokolov in the Russian squad.
“We have problem with the libero position, so the Olympic champion such Sokolov is will be very important for the team. Therefore, he will get a call,” said Shlyapnikov.
The 34-year old libero was part of the team who won the gold medal in London 2012, He is currently playing for Yaroslavich.
