Spiridonov
It all happened at the match between Yugra Samotlor and Enisey Krasnoyarsk. Everything started even before the match when the main referee showed the yellow card to Alexey Spiridonov because he touched one of the net-pillars!
Then, in the 2nd set, the referee gave a point to Yugra Samotlor, as he called a block-touch. That decision made the whole team of Enisey Krasnoyarsk furious, while at the end it was Spiridonov who received the red card.
“The referees were there to make sure we lose the game. For a long time I haven’t seen a game in the Russian Championship in which one team has so much help from the refs. Shame on them! I got the yellow card even before the match, and then I got the red card… I even do not what for! I went up to the second referee and I offered him money, just to judge fairly in the rest of the match. Everything was done in order to Samotlor avoid the play-out,” said Spiridonov for sport.business-gazeta.ru.
Yugra Samotlor eventually defeated Enisey Krasnoyarsk by 3-1.
