There has been some news this morning in Russian and Italian media about Zoran Terzic and his intention to take over the Russian women’s national team.
As of the moment, the information has been shared in media, Terzic’s phone didn’t stop ringing until the very moment.
“I have nothing to say except that Serbian Volleyball Federation will be the first to get the information if I take over some other national team. But this is not the case. I didn’t negotiate with anyone,” says Zoran Terzic for mozzartsport.com.
“My contract with the Serbian Volleyball Federation expired during summer 2020. I had a contract until the end of the Olympic Games which should be held that summer. Since the pandemic situation postponed the Olympics to summer 2021, we continued cooperation without signing anything.”
“We’ve been cooperating so many years and the word is worth more than any contract or paper. Our deal was to finish the Olympic Games and EuroVolley and to make a meeting after I come back to Belgrade. That will happen very soon as I finish with my duties for this year in my current club,” says Zoran Terzic.
The next question was – is he still the coach of Serbia?
“I am a head coach of Serbia until someone comes and gives the opposite answer,” concludes Terzic.
