Turkey’s Ilbank ANKARA claimed this past weekend the women’s BVA Cup after edging in the final match Romania’s Unic PIATRA NEAMT with a double 3:0 thereby getting the right to join the starting field of the 2013 CEV Volleyball Challenge Cup and play there in the first round Austria’s Tirol INNSBRUCK.

The home ladies started out on Friday by claiming the first match (25-16, 25-15, and 25-23) and eventually followed up with another win in straight sets (25-15, 25-18, and 25-11) to claim the Balkan title and the right to join the European Cups.
