TOURS VB is currently ranked second in Pool F with the provisional leader being PGE Skra BELCHATOW.
BUDVA played much better than last week, especially in reception, but Czech opposite David Konecny was unstoppable in the opening set that ended with the score of 25-22 after 26 minutes.
TOURS VB dominated the scene also in set 2 well supported by Cuban spiker Yosleyder Cala and pocketed the final 25-18 in 23 minutes of play.
However, it was not yet over as BUDVA played really aggressive in set 3 and although TOURS VB displayed some good defense, still the guests clipped the set with the score of 22-25.
TOURS VB reacted promptly setting the pace in set 4 and finishing it with a 3:1, thereby getting closer to a ticket for the Playoffs 12.
“It was a tough match as we expected it to be but this is an important victory to qualify for the Playoffs 12” says setter and captain Rafael Redwitz.
David Konecny paced TOURS VB tonight with 26 points while Vojin Cacic scored 17 for BUDVA.
