After the termination of the contract with the Turkish player Selime Ilyasogly, Cuneo has again started browsing the market and they managed to find a new acquisition.

Two weeks after the start of the championship, they have announced the transfer: The Cuban player Wilma Salas will wear a jersey of the Serie A1 newcomer for the season 2018/2019.

The outside hitter will arrive in Italy from Turkey, where she spent two seasons (Halkbank Ankara).

Wilma Salas achieved the fifth place overall in the special ranking of the best scorers, with no less than 209 individual points (season 2017-18), which means 19 points fewer than Tijana Boskovic.

Recall that Selime Ilyasoglu manager has announced the statement, after the club terminated a contract with her, confirming that Cuneo behaved unprofessionally and that the CEV will have to solve this case.

CEV awards unprecedented prize money for 2019 Champions League winners

Re: @Youshen
Probably because the final consisted of only two teams, so a dream team wouldn't really be representative of the champions league and a bit unnecessary, but that's just my opinion :) Reply
