One of the best volleyball players ever decided that at the age of 37 it’s enough.
“It’s the hardest decision I had to make in my whole life. After 25 years I have to leave the court, to leave my home. My journey was full of wins and losses and I don’t regret any of them. My fans, my trophies, that’s what kept me going for so long and I’m very sad to put the end on this chapter of my life. I’m looking forward to the next challenges, projects and I’m excited. I hope Giba will stay in the hearts of the fans for many years to come.”
Instead of counting his trophies we will just link you his profile and leave that massive job to you.

giba is one of the best players that volleyball ever had! man, you have to return as a coach!
I know him during 1993 Men’s Youth World Championships in Turkey he was substitution player. After two year during 1995 Men’s Junior World Championships in Malaysia he was a regular player and he was selected the MVP. Excellent player and excellent people.
Really an announcement of great tradition. We will miss which was an inspiration to the world at whole in sports especially volleyball. May god bless him with many more other assignments to the best of his capabilities.
We had been always watching his actions and following his wonderful technique followed by him. Praying for his long life. The latest volleyball development will go a long way to attract new generation towards this great game.
