Yuji Nishida led the Japanese team with an impressive 15 points, earning him the title of the match’s top scorer. On the Iranian side, Milad Ebadipour put up a valiant effort with eight points but couldn’t match Japan’s firepower.
While Iran settled for silver, Qatar clinched the bronze medal with a decisive win against China. In an intense third-place playoff match, Qatar triumphed with a 3-0 set score, boasting individual set scores of 25-23, 25-19, and 25-18.
