Trailing 0-2, Bulgaria pulled off an astonishing turnaround to win the next three sets against Slovakia. The match ended 3-2 in favor of Bulgaria, with set scores of 16-25, 17-25, 25-19, 25-20, and 15-9. Radostina Marinova shined as the top scorer for Bulgaria, contributing 15 points to her team’s tally. On the Slovakian side, Karin Sunderlikova was the standout player with 12 points, although her efforts ultimately weren’t enough to secure the win.
