FRA M: Paris engage Bulgaria National Team blocker

The 18-time French men’s volleyball Championship winners, Paris, engaged Bulgarian international.


The 29-year-old Svetoslav Gotsev is the new player of the one-time CEV Champions League winners Paris. The Bulgaria National Team middle blocker spent the last season in Russia, wearing the jersey of Ural.

The club from the French capital underperformed in Ligue A last season. They finished only the ninth in the regular season which ended prematurely due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Cannes' roster for next season doesn't seem to be THAT focused on young talent IMO. Don't see a difference to other clubs in this regard. Their main problem seems to be the decreasing interest of people in the club, a lack of (new) supporters to attend their home matches. Reply
