Simone Anzani is a new player of the present CEV Men’s Volleyball Champions League winners Cucine Lube Civitanova.

Lube announced that they have hired a 27-year-old middle blocker Anzani for a three-year contract.

The arrival of Italy national team member, currently engaged in the FIVB Nations League, is the fourth important transfer market hit by the reigning Italian and Europan champions after those of Rychlicki, Bieniek, and Ghafour.

Anzani came to Lube from Azimut Leo Shoes Modena, previously winning  Scudetto, Italian Cup and Super Cup once each (all with Sir Safety Conad Perugia), one more national Super Cup (Azimut Leo Shoes Modena), and CEV Challenge Cup once (Calzedonia Verona).

He collected 65 caps for Italy national team prior to the 2019 VNL.

VNL F6 M: With 5 players in double digits, Brazil down Iran to clinch last semifinal berth

It was a fantastic game. Brazil won previous game 3-2 and most of spectators were predicting that this match is as easy as previous but Iranian players show that anything is possible if you work hard and believe that you can! Brazilian players were stronger and highly skilled but in volleyball, no one can say win is absolute. Reply
