Men’s World Championship 2018 draw live on WoV

Our recommendation is to stay with your devices and to follow the live draw of the men’s World Championship 2018 today at 16:15 CET!

The draw will be broadcast on the Italian Volleyball Federation YouTube channel and Facebook page. Also, the Italian TV station RAI Sport will broadcast the live draw. The video will be posted 15 minutes before the start of the live transmission.

How the draw works:

Italy and Bulgaria have already been placed into the Pools since they are the hosts of the tournament – Italy (Pool A) and Bulgaria (Pool D).

The next six highest-ranked teams in the FIVB World Ranking are seeded and have been placed into the pools. Other 16 teams will be drawn row by row.

– Teams in Draw 1/3rd row: Iran (WR8); France (WR9); Serbia (WR11); Japan (WR12)

– Teams in Draw 2/4th row: Egypt (WR13); Belgium (WR15); Cuba (WR16); Australia (WR16)

– Teams in Draw 3/5th row: Finland (WR18); China (WR20); Slovenia (WR23); Tunisia (WR24)

– Teams in Draw 4/6th row: Netherlands (WR25); Puerto Rico (WR29); Cameroon (WR30); Dominican Republic (WR38)

The World Championship will be organized in Italy and Bulgaria next year from September 10 to 30. The host cities in Bulgaria are: Sofia, Varna and Ruse while these cities will host the national teams in Italy: Bari, Bologna, Florence, Milan, Rome and Turin.
