Lasko and Bartman
Zheijang won the first set, while then had the lead at 20:18 in the second set when the game stopped! The reason – Head coach of Sichuan ordered his team to leave the court, as he was unhappy with referees’ calls!
“It was a really interesting experience. I have never faced a similar situation in my career” started Zbigniew Bartman, a player of Sichuan. “Our coach told us to leave the court and the game was interrupted for about 10 minutes. Thankfully, after that the referees started with fair judging and when we had only one team as our opponents we managed to turn the situation in our advantage.”
Sichuan lost the second set against Zheijang, but then won three in a row and scored a tie-break win! Michal Lasko was the top scorer in the winning side with 27 points, while Zbigniew Bartman added 15.
