At the age 27, she has decided to start her coaching career. Of course, she has not retired from playing volleyball.

Recall that she was a member of U.S. crew at the Olympic Games in Rio, winning bronze medal!

Banwarth has replaced Dani Busboom Kelly, who was named the head coach at Louisville in November.
