Serbian super star Jovana Brakocevic has finished the season with Azeryol Baku as the third in Azerbaijani league and now it's time to move on. Where? She has no answer at the moment.

Jovana Brakocevic

In an exclusive interview for WorldofVolley she spoke about Azerbaijan league and her next move.

Honestly, I didn’t expect that we will finish third. I honestly belevied that we can seriously threaten Rabita and try to seize the title” said Jovana Brakočević Canzian and added:

We had a great team with little problems which is normal, but the biggest problems were our coaches. We changed three coaches and all of them in the second part of the season. Those changes are the reason for our oscillations in game, frequent falls and changes of rhythm.

What now? Do you have some special wish where would you like to play in the next season?

Looking at the current situation in volleyball, neither club or country attracts me at the moment. I hope that some good offer and high ambitions will change my opinion“.

You will have all summer free, what will you do?

I plan to travel, to switch off from volleyball and take a rest. I need to rest my head and body and then to prepare physically for the season like never before.”

She will be a great addition to Fenerbahce. It will be fun to watch Kim and Brakocevic playing together. Can they afford her though?

She can play easily on Montano’s place. And she also likes Istanbul very much

Jovana was the top level of her career when she was playing for Vakifbank-ISTANBUL…. She was amazing 2 years ago in Vakifbank….Before she left to Vakifbank ; her potantial in killing the balls, in attacks etc was under the potantial…i guess this is why Vakifbank let her to go…..But I am depply sure that She is not happy in Azarbaijan as much as she is in Turkey…..She may be an option for Fenerbahce Grundig but unless she plays as strong as in Vakifbank like 2 years ago….

She is only 27. It is difficult for me to believe that she has passed her prime. Fenerbahche will need an opposite if Montanio leaves next season.
