Brothers Grbic, Zorzi and Giba in Volleyball Alley of Fame

Vladimir and Nikola Grbic, famous volleyball members of the Serbian national team, admitted to the “Volleyball Alley of Fame” in the Milic in Poland. With them there were also Andrea Zorzi, former Italian representative and Gilberto Amauri De Godoy Filho Giba, former Brazilian representative.

The Grbic family has won in total 32 medals: Milos, father of Vladimir and Nikola, has won the first one in the history of men volleyball. With representatives of Yugoslavia he came to the bronze medal on European championship in 1975. in Belgrade, and Vladimir and Nikola followed his footsteps.

Vladimir Grbic was the best European player in 2000., and in the colors of Serbian national team he has won 13 medals: gold and bronze on the Olympic Games, silver and two bronze medals on European championships, silver and two bronze medals in the World League, World Champions Cup and World Challengers Cup.

Nikola Grbic, longtime captain of the Serbian national team and the best player of Europe in 1997., has won total of 18 medals: gold and bronze on the Olympic Games, silver and bronze on the World Championships, gold, silver and four bronze medals on the World Cup, World Champions Cup and World Challengers Cup
