The top-ranked team from Pool A in the semifinals will play against the best second-placed team from the three pools.
Sada Cruzeiro continued their dominant performance with a 3-0 win over Policial Voley of Argentina. Otávio Henrique Rodrigues Pinto was the top scorer with 11 points. They have secured their spot in the semifinals and their leadership in Pool A.
Ciudad Voley from Argentina won their opening game with a 3-0 victory over Olympic from Bolivia, led by José Carlos Romero who scored 14 points.
