Turkey vs. USA
Turkey – USA 1-3 (29-27, 19-25, 23-25, 15-25)
In the first set USA was leading until the end of set. When everybody thought that situation is clear, the Turkish players started to play on high level and the scoreboard showed 23-23. Ozsoy won the set point for Turkey but Murphy made equalized 24-24. Turkey used the third ball for 29-27.

In the second set USA had 8-5 on the first break but very soon they went on +7 (17-10). Turkish girls have not surrendered, they have fought for every point (19-16) but the American players were stronger 25-19.
The third set was uncertain until end. Teams played point for point but together Murphy and Hill brought the United States a 2-1 lead.
In the fourth set everything was clear. USA has dominated in all the elements and easily came to victory by 25-15.

The best scores in the winning team were Kelly Murphy and Kimberly Hill wit 19 points. On the other side the captain of Turkey Gozde Sonsirma scored 22 points while Seda Tokatlioglu stopped on 16.
