“It is a luxury and a pride to be the coach of the Argentine Seniors Men’s Team. It was my goal, I really wanted to take that duty and I am very excited with this chance” opened saying Velasco. Nearly crying, the La Plata 62 years old coach added: “All my volleyball life goes through my head like a video at this moment. The main idea is that the people feel pride of this team. I do not promise results, but a very important job. I want more people to play volleyball, to broadcast the group spirit, that each player feels he is playing always for the national jersey. It is a huge responsibility”.
Facing the big expectations of the Media of the country and of the World, each one at the main table had something to say at the official presentation, including Velasco that was surprised by the big Press Conference when he expected only a few journalists to be present.
