GP 2014: Argentina beat Cuba

Argentina picked up their first win of the FIVB Volleyball World Grand Prix in Pool K of the Intercontinental Round on Saturday, beating Cuba in four sets (25-18, 23-25, 25-23, 25-12) at the Guillermo Angulo Coliseum.

Argentina coach Guillermo Orduna: “We managed to set up our tactical play, our attackers responded at crucial moments. Also the team maintains the consistency in our service and block during the entire match.”

Cuba coach Juan Carlos Gala: “After winning the second set, we did not withstand the pressure and could not run our game plan. We failed to work under game pressure.”
