The best possible news for UPCN fans is that experienced receiver Javier Filardi confirmed to stay for at least for another season. Libero Sebastián Garrocq did the same.
Since setter Sebastián Brajkovic retired, UPCN had to seek for his replacement and the choice fell on Lomas Vóley player Maximiliano Cavanna.
Rumors about the reinforcements say that UPCN set eyes on Cavanna’s last season’s teammate, receiver Cristian Poglajen (some Turkish clubs also showed interest in him), and want to return Serbian middle blocker Petar Krsmanović, who spent last season in Gazprom-Yugra Surgut from Russia.
As for departures, it is certain that Bulgarian opposite Nikolay Uchikov, Brazilian middle blocker Gustavo Bonatto ‘Gustavão’ and another middle blocker, Pablo Guzmán, won’t stay with the club.
