In the first game of the Superliga Cimed 2018-2019 playoff finals, the top seed SESI imposed dominance over No.3 seed Taubaté to make a 3-0 win, but the situation has reversed in Game 2.
Led by the inspired Ricardo Lucarelli, who scored 16 points, Argentinean Facundo Conte, who made 74% positive reception (23 digs, one error, 35% excellent), and game-changers – Argentinean Nicolás Uriarte and Aboubacar Neto “Abouba”, who entered in the second set and remained until the end of the match, Taubaté outplayed São Paulo state rivals. Alan Souza scored 14 points (three kill blocks) for SESI, while Lucas Lóh made 75% positive reception (16 digs, one error, 31% excellent).
The series is being played in the best-of-five format with SESI hosting Game 3 on May 1.
