The first reinforcements of the club was spiker Maurício Borges, who was the winner of the Brazilian Superliga 2006/07; Then came Rapha, a former member of Vôlei Futuro. After him Minas brought Léo Mineiro who was in the SESI-SP, Piá (ex-Muharraq, Bahrain), João Rafael former Campinas and the opposite Franco, who also played for Campinas.
Minas ended Superliga 2012/13 as fourth, and renewed contracts with setters Marcelinho and Evandro, the spiker Lucas Lóh, the middle blockers Otávio and Henrique, the opposite Filip and liberos Lukinha and Victor Hillmann, besides the Argentine coach Horacio Dileo.
The youngsters Felipe Melo (setter), Flávio (middle blocker), João (opposite) and Thomaz (libero) were promoted from youth teams.
The board of Minas is looking for another middle blocker to complete the squad.
