The home team started game a lot better than away team – 7-2. It was obvious that the Vivo/Minas will take first part of the match, cause Marcelinho’s way of playing was unstoppable. With a point of the middle blocker Mauricius home side clinched first set by 21-16.
Nothing has changed in the second set. Vivo/Minas played even better and increased the advantage by wining second part by 21-18.
In the last set, Canoas had an advantage 11-8. But, home side didn’t allow any surprise and closed the match 21-16.
The Vivo/Minas middle blocker Mauricius left the court as the best scorer of the game with 14 points. The man who was in charge for distribution balls to his teammates, Marcelinho, was named as the best player of the match.
“I had a good performance because we had a good reception. Volleyball is a team sport and I’m glad that all players played at high level” said Marcelinho.
