At the beginning of the match everything worked well, as usual. Fabi was the best in defense but in an attempt to save a ball, she fell and injured back.
Fabi left the match in arms of Rezende and physiotherapist Guilherme Tenius. Even without the Olympic twice champion on the court Rexona won the match 3-0.
Fabi immediately went to hospital and the doctor’s recommendation is to rest until Monday. And until then she will take medicine and “hot water treatment” in hope that she will back as soon as possible to help the team in the Superleague.
“I’m at home and I hope it’s nothing serious.” said Fabi.
