“It’s important that we won this tournament. When the football team of Brazil beat Germany, they asked me about the volleyball final and I mentioned this. After the story that we lost emotions, comes another story that we can’t handle pressure. Everyone says that Americans are cold, Germans are cold, but we feel the pressure. We had a lot of pressure especially football and volleyball players. They knew to withstand the pressure and knew how to win. They knew how to beat European champions France, how to beat our super rival Argentina. They also defeated Olympic champions from 2012 Russia in three sets and lastly, in the final, they beat Italy also in straight sets. So, it’s time to stop talking that Brazilian players don’t know how to handle pressure” says Nalbert.
