Dinamo Kazan and Hameenlinna opened the new season of the women’s CEV Champions League Group stage.
The Russian side has scored an easy victory and the difference between the two sides was too obvious. Simply, the Finnish side couldn’t do anything to stop Dinamo Kazan.
Irina Koroleva was the most dominant player with 15 points, while her teammate Anna Kotikova added 11.
Beziers have also scored a 3-0 win at their start of the 2018/2019 Champions League campaign. The Bulgarian side gave only a small resistance in the third set, but they couldn’t do anything more.
Janisa Johnson led the French side with 14 points, Malina Terrel added 13 while Juliette Fidon had 10.
The Polish side LKS Lodz needed four sets against Schweriner to score the win: 25-18, 25-23, 14-25, 25-17.
Monika Bociek was in the spotlight with 21 points, while McKenzie Adams ended the game with 16 points on the other side.
