France’s Narbonne Volley completed the bracket of the quarter-finals of the 2022 CEV Men’s Volleyball Challenge Cup.
A week after their victory in four sets in the first leg of the 1/8 finals of the CEV Volleyball Challenge Cup 2022 | Men, earned on the floor of Portugal’s Sporting CP Lisboa, the current third-placed side in the French Ligue A got scared in front of its own crowd. The guys coached by Guillermo Falasca squandered the result from the Portuguese capital and let Sporting reach the Golden Set after getting 3-1. However, Narbonne managed to recover and take the additional set 17-15, advancing to the Top-8 in which they’ll face the Swiss Lausanne UC.
Tunisian youngster Aymen Bouguerra led the French side tonight with 20 points. The Argentine Martín Ramos set up 7 blocks.
