The European Volleyball Confederation (CEV) had no mercy on Russian volleyball due to the resolution of the official Moscow to attack Ukraine.
All Russian and Belarussian national teams, athletes, and clubs are ineligible to compete or take part in competitions in Europe, according to the CEV. The ruling is effective as of today and will remain so until further notice, expanding the previous ruling that no matches can be played in Russia and Ukraine. Furthermore, the CEV Board of Administration has suspended all members of the National Federations of Russia and Belarus from their respective roles in CEV organs.
Thus, the governing body of the European volleyball complied with the decision of the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB).
