Erlind Pëllumbi Elected as New President of Balkan Volleyball Association

The annual General Assembly of the Balkan Volleyball Association (BVA) took place in Sofia, Bulgaria. In keeping with a long-standing tradition of leadership rotation, the assembly witnessed the election of Mr. Erlind Pëllumbi as the new President of the BVA. Mr. Pëllumbi, who has been leading the Albanian Volleyball Federation, succeeds Lubomir Ganev of Bulgaria in this prestigious role.

“It is a great honour for me to be elected as President of the Balkan Volleyball Association. This is also a very important step for my country. I cannot say just yet what we will be able to do and achieve throughout this coming year. Volleyball in Albania is developing step by step, year after year. Now I have a new project related to Volleyball in schools. This is a very ambitious undertaking.”

Expressing his enthusiasm and the weight of his new responsibility, Mr. Pëllumbi shared, “It is a great honour for me to be elected as President of the Balkan Volleyball Association. This is also a very important step for my country.”
